Aviawork's
Code of Conduct

To be read and followed in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

Last Updated: 22/07/2025

Welcome to Aviawork! We’re dedicated to fostering a professional, respectful, and inclusive platform where public users and companies can connect, collaborate, and grow together. This Code of Conduct outlines expected behaviors and responsibilities when interacting, such as through profiles, messaging, project postings, quotes, job applications, CV uploads, and interviews.

1. Purpose and Scope

1.1 Purpose. The goal of this Code of Conduct is to ensure all members of the Aviawork community engage in a safe, respectful, and productive environment.
1.2 Scope. These guidelines apply to every user—public users, company representatives, contractors, and job applicants—across all Aviawork services, including profiles, messages, project listings, quotation requests, job postings, CV uploads, and interviews held off-platform.

2. Definitions

  • “User”: Any individual or entity with a public or company profile on Aviawork.

  • “Company”: Registered organizations offering services or hiring through Aviawork.

  • “Project”: Work postings or opportunities viewable by members.

  • “Quote”: Fee proposal submitted by a User to a Company for a Project.

  • “Application”: Job application submitted by a User to a Company’s job listing.

  • “CV”: Curriculum Vitae or resume uploaded by a User.

  • “Interview”: Any job interview conducted off-platform between Users and Companies.

3. General Principles

  • Professionalism. Communicate clearly, courteously, and truthfully in all interactions.

  • Respect. Treat all members with dignity, irrespective of background, identity, or experience.

  • Privacy. Handle personal data (CVs, contact details, interview notes) with confidentiality and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

  • Integrity. Provide accurate profiles, honest quotes, and transparent job requirements. Avoid misrepresentation.

4. Acceptable Behaviour

4.1 Profiles

  • Use real names, photos, and accurate company details where applicable.

  • Keep profile content professional and relevant to your services or skills.

4.2 Messaging

  • Initiate contact solely for legitimate business purposes.

  • Respond to messages in a timely manner (e.g., within 48 hours).

  • Maintain polite, respectful tone; avoid spam, harassment, or unsolicited marketing.

4.3 Project Postings & Quotes

  • Companies must provide clear project descriptions, scope, timelines, and budget expectations.

  • Users submitting quotes should detail services offered, pricing breakdown, and estimated deliverables.

  • Avoid “scope creep” by agreeing in writing to any changes in projects or quotes.

4.4 Job Applications & CV Uploads

  • Applicants should submit truthful, up-to-date CVs. Include relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

  • Companies must treat all applications fairly and provide basic feedback or status updates.

4.5 Interviews

  • Schedule interviews at mutually agreeable times and confirm details (format, platform, duration).

  • Conduct interviews professionally: be punctual, prepared, and respectful of time.

  • Interviewers should focus questions on skills and experience; avoid discriminatory or overly personal inquiries.

5. Unacceptable Behaviour

  • Harassment or Discrimination. Any form of hate speech, bullying, or discriminatory behaviour based on race, gender, religion, orientation, age, or disability.

  • Fraud or Misrepresentation. Fake profiles, falsified CVs, misleading quotes, or hidden fees.

  • Spam & Solicitation. Unsolicited mass messaging, promotional content, or phishing attempts.

  • Confidentiality Breaches. Sharing personal or proprietary information without consent.

  • Intellectual Property Violations. Unauthorized use or distribution of others’ work, designs, or documentation.

6. Reporting and Enforcement

6.1 Reporting Violations. If you witness or experience misconduct, report it via:

  • In-app “Report” button on messages or profiles.

Include screenshots, profile links, and detailed descriptions.

6.2 Investigation. The Aviawork Trust & Safety team will review reports promptly and may:

  • Issue warnings or require corrective action.

  • Suspend or deactivate accounts.

  • Escalate to legal authorities if required.

6.3 Appeals. Users subject to enforcement actions can appeal by contacting [appeals@aviawork.com] within 14 days. Provide supporting information or context.

7. Consequences of Violations

Depending on severity and frequency, actions may include:

  • Warning notices.

  • Temporary suspension of messaging or posting privileges.

  • Permanent account deactivation.

  • Legal action for serious breaches (fraud, harassment).
